Non Surgical Spinal Decompression

“If You’ve Tried Everything and Still Have the Pain…You’ve Found Your Last Stop.”

According to the American Academy of Pain Management at their Annual Conference in Tampa, FL, September 2007; after two weeks of treatments on the DRX9000 (the machine used in Non Surgical Spinal Decompression, NSSD) there was a 50% reduction in pain scores and upon completion of the entire six week protocol an amazing success rate of 88.9% was documented.

Spinal Decompression and Cervical Decompression were designed by a specialized team of engineers to meet the needs of today's patient, offering physicians the clinical outcome they desire and patients the quality of life they deserve.

North Dallas Spine Center offers the latest cutting edge technology in the non-surgical treatment of serious chronic lower back pain, sciatica, as well as chronic neck pain. We are one of the largest providers of NSSD to the Dallas Metroplex by offering the most advanced NSSD equipment, the DRX 9000C. Our commitment to offering the highest quality of care resulted in the addition of 2 FDA cleared DRX 9000C Lumbar Spinal Decompression and Cervical Spinal Decompression units for the treatment of back and neck pain due to:

  • Herniated and/or Bulging Discs
  • Degenerative Disc Disease
  • A relapse or failure following surgery
  • Spinal Stenosis

“After the fourth week, my herniated disc pain was gone.”

Dear Dr. Rader,

Thank you for what you have done for me. I am 70. I came with degenerative low back and herniated discs, as well as a very sore heel. I was ready to go for shots for my back and my daughter-in-law, Robin, asked me to please go to you, Dr. Rader, before I did that. I am so very thankful that I listened to her. Your NUCCA treatment relieved my very sore heel the first time you did it. Then, I have spent 6 weeks on the DRX9000 machine. After the fourth week, my herniated disc pain was gone. I looked forward to coming for these treatments four times a week. I am pain free. I think for the first time in 37 years, I am beginning to lean how to take care of my back properly. I ice twice a day, even on days I have had treatments and ice at the office. Thank you, Lindsey, for reminding me that the ice would help, even at home. I plan to continue maintenance. Dr. Rader, you are a special person, in my books. When I come, you and Lindsey treat me as if I am the most important person there. I know you are the same with other practice members. I call you my "miracle worker" with "hot hands". I am so glad I found you and the treatment you have available. I am a changed person. God bless you as you continue your skill and empathetic way as you help each of us.

~ Kathy S.

Read about what our Practice Members think about this non-surgical option.

In the past, a practice member suffering from a disc problem usually was provided some relief with our specific spinal care, but often times still had recurring pain from the disc that we were unable to fully address with spinal correction alone. We typically had to instruct practice members to refrain from physical activities, maintain their spinal correction and when they weren’t progressing they were sent for spinal surgery. Conservative healthcare care proved very helpful in many cases, yet there have been some cases when surgery seemed to be the only other option… until now.

Today, you don’t have to live with that pain anymore. Thanks to the concerted efforts of a team of top physicians and medical engineers, Spinal Decompression was developed to effectively treat lower back pain and sciatica resulting from herniated or deteriorated discs. Spinal Decompression not only significantly reduces back pain in many patients, but also enables the majority of patients to return to more active lifestyles.

Does Spinal Decompression really work?

Spinal Decompression has been proven effective in relieving the pain associated with bulging and herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, and even relapse or failed back surgery. Since its release, clinical studies have revealed an amazing success rate in treating lumbar disc related problems with Spinal Decompression.

How does it work?

Spinal Decompression uses state of the art technology to apply a distraction force to relieve nerve compression often associated with low back pain, sciatica and chronic neck pain.

How do I get started?

Are You Ready to Get Started and Get Rid of that Pain After All?

Becoming a new patient of our center is simple.

It happens with two appointments to the office. These two appointments may be scheduled on two different days. Each of the two initial appointments takes an hour to an hour and a half to complete.

Make your appointment now – call our office at (972) 471-9088 or send us a quick email and tell us when you’d like to come in.

During your first appointment to our office Dr. Rader gathers important information about your health, does a set of preliminary exams to determine if you are a good candidate for treatment in our office. If you do indeed have a problem Dr. Rader feels will respond to the DRX treatments he will order a DMX study and/or x-rays. This will conclude your first visit to the office.

Special Note: Dr. Rader will need to have you bring your current MRI of cervical (neck) or lumbar (low back) on this first visit. Most MRI facilities are more than accommodating in providing this information to you. Just request them from the facility that the MRI was administered. If you do not have a current MRI, no problem, we can help you get that if you need us to. Please let our staff know when you schedule your appointment if this is something you need us to help you with, we would be glad to.

During the second appointment to our office Dr. Rader will discuss in detail all the findings from all special tests performed and answer all your questions. Once he has explained everything to you and you are in agreement with his recommended treatment and finances, your first treatment will begin at that time. Once the initial DRX treatment is complete you will rest for 15-20 minutes. At that point our office staff will again make sure all questions are taken care of and your treatment schedule will be gone over one more time.

Make your appointment now – call our office at (972) 471-9088 or send us a quick email and tell us when you’d like to come in.
